Catholic committal graveside funeral services for Maria Guadalupe Banuelos, age 78, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Dawson County Cemetery with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating.
Face masks are required both at the funeral home and cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19 area situations, we continue with public safety measures.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 9:00 a.m until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Guadalupe passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Lubbock, TX.
She was born on August 2, 1942 in Mexico. Guadalupe married Samuel Banuelos, Sr. on May 13, 1957 in Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Banuelos Sr.; her daughter, Irma Rojas; her parents, Jose Velasquez and Evangelina Jimenez; her brothers, Rogelio Jimenez, Ricardo Velasquez, and Ramiro Jimenez; and her sister, Guillermina Hernandez.
Guadalupe was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, Lotteria, and casino slot machines. Guadalupe loved spending precious time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Guadalupe is survived by her children, sons, Enrique Banuelos and daughter-in-law, Martina Banuelos of Patricia, TX., Samuel Banuelos, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Concepcion Banuelos, Juan D. Banuelos and daughter-in-law, Bertha Banuelos, Gerardo Banuelos and daughter-in-law, Betsy Renteria, Jose Aron Banuelos, all of Lamesa, TX., and Ramiro Banuelos and daughter-in-law, Lucy Banuelos of O’Donnell, TX.; her daughters, Guadalupe Valerio and son-in-law, Jose H. Valerio of Lamesa, TX., Elisa Reyna and son-in-law, Javier Reyna, Sr. of Grady, TX., and Manuella Banuelos and son-in-law, Ismael Mata of Amarillo, TX.; her son-in-law, Refugio Rojas, Sr. of Patricia, TX.; 26 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren; many relatives and friends.

G.P. “Butch” Marceaux, 71, of Santa Fe passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. He was born on February 20, 1949 in Crowley, Louisiana to Buford and Irene Marceaux-LeBlanc.

Butch was formerly from Texas City working in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved to play and listen to Cajun and Country Music; he enjoyed playing pool; game slot machines on his computer; riding his golf cart, visiting his neighbors and giving all his nieces and nephews rides.

He is preceded in death by his parents; mother of his sons, Thelma Jean Marceaux-Theiler; his granddaughter, Brooke Theiler; his stepsons, Darren Thompson and David Thompson; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Foy, 71, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Born Sunday, March 27, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph. Maxine Emiley Kadlec, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the morning of December 17, 2020. Maxine was born on March 7, 1935 in Rushford Township, Walsh County to Agnes Blanche Novak (Greicar) and Frank Lewis Novak. She was the oldest of six and grew up in Pisek, ND. Maxine graduated from Pisek. Lucille Lucy Marjorie Harold passed away peacefully at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha, Kansas on November 12th, 2020. Her husband, Gerald Harold, was at her bedside. Lucille was born in Falls City, Nebraska on August 29th, 1925 and lived on the family farm with her parents, David and Clara.
